Chairman Park Jin-hee of Inqten Wins Grand Prize in Functional Foods Category at the 19th Korea Promising Patent Technology Awards

Chairman Park Jin-hee of Inqten received the Grand Prize in the Functional Foods category at the 19th Korea Promising Patent Technology Awards ceremony. CEO Kim Ki-soo of Inqten (right) attended the event and accepted the award on behalf of Chairman Park.

Since first winning the award at the 16th ceremony, Chairman Park has continued to receive the honor for four consecutive years, showcasing the scientific excellence of Inqten's products.

The Korea Promising Patent Technology Awards ceremony is an event designed to encourage small and venture businesses that contribute to industrial competitiveness and national economic development through the creation and application of patented technologies. Each year, it selects and announces outstanding patent companies, IP service providers, and IP professionals in various categories, aiming to promote the industrial application of patent technologies.

The key factor behind Incuten’s four consecutive wins is the excellence of TenQmin S Plus. This product is made using a patented solubilization technology, which maximizes the bioavailability of curcuminoid compounds derived from turmeric’s curcumin. Curcumin has been recognized for its potential in preventing and boosting immunity against viral infections, cancer, obesity, and diabetes, gaining significant academic interest in recent years.

Even the best ingredients cannot be effective if they are not absorbed by the body, making absorption a critical factor in commercialization. Inqten's Dr. Qmin Origin overcomes this challenge by utilizing government-funded research institute patents and curcumin solubilization technology. This technology allows curcumin, which is insoluble in water, to be absorbed up to 1,600 times better, drawing global attention to the product.

Recently, research on using TenQmin S Plus for cancer treatment has been accelerating. Konyang University Hospital is conducting a clinical trial on colorectal cancer patients to study the immune activation effects of TenQmin S Plus. The trial will continue until July 2025.

Chairman Park Jin-hee of Inqten stated, "Inqten's products enhance the absorption of curcumin’s excellent properties through solubilization technology, delivering real effects. This award once again recognizes our scientific excellence."

He added, "Inqten is dedicated to improving human health. We will continue our research to develop products that help prevent and treat major diseases such as cancer, obesity, and diabetes."

Meanwhile, Inqten is a company built on PharmGen Science, specializing in cutting-edge bio R&D and production. It has three core growth engines:

  1. Products containing patented solubilized curcumin (TenQmin S Plus, TenQmin G Plus) developed by government research institutions.
  2. Natural cosmeceutical technology using fermentation science without synthetic chemical ingredients.
  3. An optimized contactless network marketing platform.
